Private tour in Vigo
Description
Jules Verne says that Captain Nemo's best kept secret is in Vigo. In the estuary there are dozens of sunken galleons loaded with gold from the Americas. Treasures that have not yet come to light. But there are also treasures within everyone's reach. Like strolling through the Casco Vello and having a few oysters in A Pedra. Or Castrelos Park, with its manor house and gardens. Or stroll through the streets full of elegant camellias. Or climb the Castro to see a breathtaking sunset.
What we are going to do?
The tour will start in the centre of Vigo, at Praza da Porta do Sol, next to the statue of the Siren, the city's most famous sculpture. From here, we'll go up to San Sebastián Castle, a medieval fortress that defended the city and overlooks the entire Vigo estuary. The second part of the visit takes us from the castle to another great symbol of the city: the olive tree. Next, we will enter the pedestrian streets of Vigo's old town, where we will explore the city's most typical traditions. The tour ends at the foot of the estuary, on the seafront promenade.
