Combined route in Ulldecona: cave paintings Abrigos de la Ermita and visit to the thousand-year-old olive trees of Arión
Description
On this route we will combine two of the most interesting visits in the area. We will start by visiting the exceptional set of Levantine paintings declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the cave paintings of the Hermitage. We will start with a brief explanation at the Interpretation Centre of the Ermita de la Pietat de Ulldecona to learn about the history of the humans who lived there more than 7,000 years ago. Once the visit is over, we will complete the morning visiting the millenary olive trees of Arión and its famous olive grove of more than 1,700 years old. We will finish the route with a tasting of varietal and millenary olive oils from the same vineyard, an essential visit!
