Visit to Doñana National Park and El Rocío from Seville
Description
The Doñana National and Natural Park is a protected area located in the provinces of Huelva, Seville and Cadiz, in Andalusia. Its vast expanse of marshes is home to numerous species of aquatic birds during the winter. We will get to know all the ecosystems that make up the most important natural space on the European continent. Rice fields, wild olive forests, dehesas, a gallery forest and the beach, among others.
What we are going to do?
We will leave Seville and our first stop will be Puebla del Río. Leaving the rice fields behind, we will continue on to the northern part of the Doñana National Park to visit the village of El Rocío, famous throughout the country for its pilgrimage. We will make a short tour of the village and visit the gallery forest of Palacio del Acebrón. We will take the opportunity to rest and taste the typical gastronomy of the area. Once lunch is over, we will go to the longest unspoilt beach in Spain. Finally, at sunset, we will start our return to Seville crossing the wooded area of the Doñana National Park in a 4x4.
