Excursion to the white villages and Ronda from Sevilla
Description
Zahara de la Sierra, Grazalema and Ronda, among others, are some of the most traditional white villages in Andalusia. They are so called because of the custom of their inhabitants to whitewash the façades of their houses a pristine white. They are scattered between the Serranías de Ronda, the Sierra de Grazalema and Los Alcornocales, in the provinces of Málaga and Cádiz. Zahara de la Sierra, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, is crowned at the top by the remains of a Moorish castle. Secondly, we come to the village of Grazalema, the second rainiest village in the whole of Spain. This gives rise to its fresh and green nature, a luxury in Andalusia. Finally, Ronda, characterised by the impressive views of the Ronda Mountains and the flight of the vultures.
