Guided tour of the tower of Segovia Cathedral
Description
The tower of Segovia Cathedral is, without doubt, one of the great architectural landmarks for visitors to Segovia. For this reason it deserves a separate presentation. Its slenderness and uniqueness make it the jewel in the crown of this cathedral, known by many as the Lady of Cathedrals. From afar, the tower defines the skyline of the city, leaving the Cathedral in an almost levitation between heaven and earth, framed, in turn, between the different smaller towers that rise from the other churches in Segovia, many of them Romanesque. The guided tour of the tower is one more option to get to know the temple from a historical and religious point of view, in a setting such as Segovia, declared a World Heritage City by UNESCO in 1985.
What we are going to do?
Guided tour lasting 60 minutes, with four stops: Audiovisual Room, Belfry House, Clock Room and Belfry. In each of them you can learn about the history of the Cathedral and the tower through an immersive video mapping with 3D recreations, learn how the bell ringer and his family lived or contemplate each of the points of Segovia at a height of almost 88 metres. This tour is one of the most popular activities for national and foreign tourists as it involves discovering Segovia from the highest viewpoint in the city. The views from the tower will not leave you indifferent.
