Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage City since 1985, is, according to experts, one of the top destinations in the world for hot-air ballooning. The city rests on a large crag at an altitude of over a thousand metres, between the valleys of the rivers Eresma and Clamores. All this, together with the proximity to the Sierra del Guadarrama, makes the atmospheric conditions for hot air ballooning over the city particularly unique. These special conditions for balloon flights, together with the spectacular monuments, its magical light and its surroundings, of a prodigious natural wealth, make enjoying Segovia from the heights always a memorable experience. This balloon trip over Segovia is to fly over the origins of our history, and enjoy it from the air. It is to travel to the origins of aviation, but with all the technical advances of today. It is to return to the dreams of our childhood. For all these reasons, this trip is about floating over the History of Spain. Because it is about flying over the Alcázar where Isabella the Catholic slept before her proclamation. It is also about flying over its gothic style Cathedral built in the 16th century. It is also about flying over the Mujer Muerta (Dead Woman) in the Sierra del Guadarrama. In other words, you will travel to all these marvellous sites at speeds of 4 or 5 km/h, practically the same speed as a walk on foot; in this case, from a unique point of view: from the air!
What we are going to do?
The balloon flight always takes place at dawn. The times vary depending on the time of year. 06:00 am The crew will be waiting for you at the meeting point. Board one of the passenger vehicles for a short transfer to the take-off area. 06:30 am Your pilot and ground crew will be preparing the balloon at one of the launch sites. With different zones to choose from, the experienced pilot will select the one that offers the most possibilities for a safe and smooth flight. 07:00 am The balloon inflation process is a spectacular moment. Have your camera ready for spectacular photos. The ground crew will show you how to access the balloon basket. 7:00-8:00 am The hot air balloon takes off gently and begins to move slowly. In the basket the feeling of safety is total and there is no sensation of movement at all. During the flight you find yourself flying at tree level and a few minutes later at 800 metres or more with breath-taking views. 8:00-8:30 am We will have some balloon pick-up games and laughs, lots of laughs. 09:00 am Time for a fabulous country breakfast followed by a champagne toast in keeping with the 2 centuries old tradition of ballooning. 09:30-10:00 Transport back to the meeting point where we picked you up in the morning. During the transport you will enjoy free WIFI connection so you can share your experience with your friends.

Not suitable for pregnant women. The start time of the activity will always be between 6 and 8 a.m., depending on the date of the flight. The definitive timetable will be confirmed once the booking has been made and with a maximum of 24 hours' notice.
