“Pilgrim for a day" tour from Santiago de Compostela
Description
A route crosses the whole of Europe on its way to Santiago de Compostela. It is the Camino de Santiago, a route that has been, and still is without doubt, the oldest, busiest and most celebrated route on the old continent. Santiago has also shared the attraction of walkers and hikers of all times but, in addition, he has created a route, he has made a Way. Santiago and Galicia can be reached in many ways. But the best way is by the Camino de Santiago.
What we are going to do?
We will walk the last kilometres of the Camino de Santiago (French Way) until we reach the famous Plaza del Obradoiro, the final point of the Camino where all pilgrims celebrate their arrival. We will prepare all the material (hiking poles, hats, etc...) and everything necessary to make it a real and unforgettable experience. To start with, we will meet in the centre of Santiago and we will go 9 kilometres back on the Camino. We will meet our guide and walk to the famous Monte do Gozo, a point along the way where you can see the first views of the city and the towers of the Cathedral. From there, we will continue walking until we reach the final point, the Plaza del Obradoiro.
