Excursion to Playa de las Catedrales, Lugo and Ribadeo from Santiago de Compostela
Lugo is, above all, a city with a splendid Roman past, as can be seen in the Walls that surround it, considered a World Heritage Site, in the Thermal Baths or the Roman Bridge. You can also visit the Cathedral and the Virgen de los Ojos Grandes, a beautiful medieval carving in polychrome stone. In the province of Lugo we also find the Playa de las Catedrales, a natural monument located in the geomorphological formation known as the Rasa Cantábrica.
What we are going to do?
Leaving Santiago de Compostela we head to Lugo, a city that is known for its incredible Roman wall that surrounds it. We will also visit the majestic and amazing Playa de las Catedrales beach and, taking advantage of the low tide, we will be able to enjoy its rock formations made by the erosion of the sea. We will also have time to visit the town of Ribadeo.
