Description
Galicia is a region of undeniable historical and cultural heritage. And one of the most emblematic places is A Coruña, which captivates its visitors with its heritage, its gastronomy and its tourist options. For many, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain thanks to its seafront promenade, old quarter, nature... We will also have the opportunity to visit Betanzos, centuries ago one of the seven capitals of the Kingdom of Galicia. In this town of stone alleys you can breathe a medieval atmosphere all year round.
What we are going to do?
We will leave Santiago de Compostela and arrive in A Coruña. We will start by visiting the Tower of Hercules, we will make a tour of the city, visiting museums, monuments and emblematic sites and we will depart to Betanzos. It is a city also known as "Betanzos de los Caballeros", as this city was one of the seven provincial capitals of the ancient Kingdom of Galicia and its old town has been declared a Historic-Artistic Site. We will also have the opportunity to try "the best omelette in Spain", thanks to a national competition organised every year.
