Description
San Sebastian, as well as for its architecture, beaches, nature, cinema and culture in general, is a city known worldwide for its exquisite gastronomy. Donostia (San Sebastian in Basque) and haute cuisine go hand in hand. The high standard of Basque cuisine means that San Sebastian has 17 Michelin Stars in 10 restaurants within a radius of 25 km, but you don't have to aim that high to enjoy some of the city's best dishes. The best way to discover its culinary tradition is to go for "pintxos", small portions that allow you to try a wide variety of excellent combinations, hot or cold.
What we are going to do?
We will immerse ourselves in the charming and wonderful Old Part of San Sebastian to taste the best "pintxos" of the city paired with 4 Spanish wines from different Denominations of Origin and also a local cider, feeling like a "donostiarra" (local person from San Sebastian) throughout the whole experience. We will taste the 5 best pieces of gastronomic art combined with some of the best Spanish wines. Between "pintxos" we will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of this incredible area full of history.
