Excursion to the Rías Baixas with wine tasting and boat trip from Pontevedra
Description
The so called Rías Baixas, are linked between Baiona and Fisterra. They are the estuaries of Vigo, Pontevedra, Arousa and Muros-Noia. On its rugged coastline, the stretches of cliffy, rocky and rugged coastline merge with the wide sandy beaches that can be accessed from land, following the extensive road network, or from the sea, taking advantage of the numerous ports. In addition to the richness and variety of its natural environment, there is also a wide range of seafood and wines, which will delight any gourmet.
What we are going to do?
Our first stop will be the city of Pontevedra, where we will take a guided tour of the old town. Then we will go to Combarro, a very well-known village due to its particular architecture. Leaving Combarro we will go to the Illa da Toxa, one of the best known enclaves of the Rías Baixas. There we will take a boat trip on the Ría de Arousa. We will stop for lunch in O Grove and, after some free time, we will head for Cambados, the capital of Albariño, where we will visit a wine cellar where we will taste 3 of its varieties.
