Excursion to La Rioja from Pamplona: visit to a winery, wine tasting and traditional lunch
Description
Spain is world famous for the quality of its wines, and the cradle of these wines is the land that gives its name to the Designation of Origin of La Rioja. In La Rioja, wine production is part of the culture, tradition and trade. Small medieval villages mingle with fields full of vineyards that vary their colours throughout the year to create a unique and special atmosphere.
What we are going to do?
On this tour we will visit a medium-sized winery, away from the big crowds, to learn the secrets of wine production from the beginning to the end. We will depart from Pamplona in an organised private transport to head to the region and town of Laguardia, in La Rioja, where we will take a guided tour of a winery that will end with a wine tasting. Afterwards we will go to a classic restaurant in the area to taste a typical Riojan menu, with local products and of course paired with a good wine from the region.
