Guided tour of the Covadonga Lakes

The first objective is Lake Ercina, from where we will have the opportunity to reach the Entrelagos viewpoint, and from there observe the two lakes of Covadonga and the alpine landscapes that surround them. The bucolic setting reminds us that pastoral life and the production of artisan cheese are inseparable from these Cantabrian mountains. After the experience with nature and landscape, the activity continues to the Holy Place of Covadonga to visit the Holy Cave, inside which the image of the "Santina" is displayed and where the remains of Pelayo, the first king of the Asturian monarchy, rest. Before returning we will discover the surroundings where the battle of Covadonga took place and the interior of the basilica of Santa María la Real de Covadonga. The activity heads towards Cangas de Onís, where we will have time for lunch (not included in the price) and enjoy the images of the Roman Bridge and the Chapel of the Holy Cross on a leisurely stroll.
