Descent of the Sella by canoe
Description
The River Sella has its source in the province of León, although it is located on the northern slope of the Cantabrian Mountains, on the Asturian side. In the lower part of the Sella, from Cangas de Onís to Ribadesella, passing through Arriondas, the waters are very calm and it is there where intense canoeing activity has been taking place since 1951.
What we are going to do?
We will canoe down the river Sella starting in the town of Arriondas. Once the material has been handed over and a basic introduction to the handling of the canoe has been given, we will start our tour. The descent will be done freely, so that everyone can go at their own pace and stop as many times as they want at the beach bars that we will find along the way. Once we reach the end of the descent, we will go back up the river to the starting point.
