Brown Bear Sighting in Oviedo

Description

This Cantabrian Brown Bear watching activity takes place entirely in the Somiedo Natural Park. A professional guide will make a short presentation with educational resources to learn about the regulations and zoning of the protected area and, before going out into the mountains, will give us some notions of safety and sustainability. The exploration activity will depend on the weather conditions and the behaviour of the animals. We will approach different viewpoints to identify the habitat of the brown bear, and try to locate an individual. After settling into the waiting area, we will actively search for the animals with the telescope while the guide tells us about the natural history of these valleys. The search will last until sunset.
