Rafting in the Almadenes Canyon in Murcia
Description
Come and discover the most beautiful stretch of the Region of Murcia. A natural space that runs through the Protected Natural Park of "El Cañón de Almadenes". The guides of the activity will show you all its history and will show you its beautiful riverside forest. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Cueva de los Monigotes and discover its rock art, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Cueva de las Nutrias, which is a must-see. It is the best preserved stretch of the Segura River in the region, with more than 150 species of flora and fauna recognised among walls more than 100 metres high. Here, the guides will explain in detail the forest and the biodiversity of this Protected Natural Area. After the visit to the Otter Cave, inhabited by these friendly animals, and always from the boat, we will cross the Paraje de la Maestra, the mouth of the Alfonso XIII Reservoir and the La Mulata Dam, where we will finish the adventure.

The activity starts in Paraje del Viso and ends at the Presa de la Mulata.
