Description
This kayak excursion departs from Cala Torret, in the town of Sant Lluís, a rocky area full of traditional fishermen's houses. From there, we will travel along a stretch of the south coast that will give us the best postcard views of the island. A natural spot of beautiful caves and cliffs, full of geological curiosities, stories and legends. Cales Coves is a group of coves and caves in the south of Menorca protected by spectacular cliffs. The main attraction of Cales Coves, apart from the natural surroundings and a sea that looks like a swimming pool, are the prehistoric funerary caves excavated in the rock of the cliffs.
What we are going to do?
We will start with a brief introduction on how to paddle and use the kayak correctly and we will explain the basic safety rules before going out to the open sea. Then we will start the route that will take us to the historic beach of Cales Coves, passing through some of the most beautiful caves, coves and villages of the south coast of Menorca such as Binibeca and Binisafúller. On this route we will discover especially the most spectacular sea caves of the island, which are accompanied by some legends and popular stories. Both on the way there and on the way back, we will stop at different points to rest, have a refreshment and snorkel.

Important
It is essential to know how to swim in order to do this activity safely. It is important to arrive 20 minutes in advance. The minimum age for this activity is 13 years old. If you want to take care of the planet and the waters of Menorca, it is best to use ecological and/or natural sun protection and not use plastic bottles that could end up at the bottom of the sea.
