Kayaking and snorkelling on the south coast of Menorca
Description
This kayak excursion departs from Cala Torret, in the town of Sant Lluís, a rocky area full of traditional fishermen's houses. From there, we'll travel along a stretch of the south coast that will give us the best postcard views of the island. The village of Binibeca Vell is one of the most typical images of Menorca, a village built in 1972 that imitates a traditional fishing village, with its narrow streets and white houses. Its beach has fine white sand and crystal clear waters. The secret "Cova d'Es Pont", so called because of the natural rock bridge at its entrance which, depending on the time of day, creates beautiful light effects in the water, is one of the many places we will discover along the route. A very complete kayak excursion for the more adventurous, but also suitable for families or a group of friends. Ideal for snorkelling enthusiasts who want to discover the varied marine fauna hidden in the waters of Menorca and its impressive caves.
What we are going to do?
We will start with a brief introduction on how to paddle and use the kayak correctly and we will explain the basic safety rules before going out to the open sea. Then we will start the route that will take us through some of the most beautiful coves and villages of the south coast of Menorca such as Binibeca and Binisafúller. Both on the way there and on the way back, we will stop at different beaches to rest, have a refreshment and snorkel and we will also enter some secret caves.
