Immersion El Submarino in Cala'n Forcat, Menorca
Description
Enveloped in a rocky landscape surrounded by vegetation, Cala'n Forcat is a small cove located between the urbanisations of Cala'n Blanes and Los Delfines, just a few minutes from Ciutadella. Our divers are experts in spotting octopus and moray eels hidden among the rocks of Cala'n Forcat, so it is very likely that you will see some of these marine species during the dive.
What we are going to do?
We will start the dive in this cosy cove watched by the attentive gaze of a cormorant that usually accompanies us on our diving adventures in this part of the island. We will gradually descend following the right flank of the cove until we come across the large rock formation that gives its name to this dive. It is a majestic rock some 50 metres long that runs parallel to the coast and whose shape is reminiscent of the prow of a nuclear submarine. From a depth of 12 metres we will cover its entire length until we reach a depth of 21 metres (or the maximum depth allowed by your certification level), while we marvel at the abundant marine life that inhabits the cove.
