Guided kayak route through the unspoilt coves of Menorca
Description
This kayak excursion departing from the beach of Santo Tomás is a one-way route and will allow us to explore the most unspoilt, beautiful and inaccessible stretch of the south coast of Menorca. This stretch of coastline is characterised by limestone cliffs up to 40 metres high, covered with pine trees and interrupted by large sea inlets that give way to isolated, unspoilt coves with white sand and transparent waters. Cala Escorxada, Cala Fustam, Cala Trebalúger and Cala Mitjana are probably some of the most secluded places on the island and offer a wide range of marine biodiversity. Here you can enjoy snorkelling and swimming among hidden caves illuminated by the magical sunlight reflected on the fine white sand.
What we are going to do?
We will start with a brief introduction on how to paddle and use the kayak correctly and we will explain the basic safety rules before going out to the open sea. Then we will start the route that will take us to the famous beach of Cala Galdana. During the route we will stop at different beaches to rest, have a refreshment and snorkel and we will also enter a secret cave. This is a one-way excursion, which will allow us to discover more of the coastline (more caves and beaches than any other round trip excursion). Once in Cala Galdana, only one person per group will be transferred to the starting point (Santo Tomás) so that they can take their vehicle and pick up their group in Cala Galdana.
