Discover Scuba Diving (PADI) in Binibeca, Menorca
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme is an introduction to scuba diving. A relaxed and very safe experience with a PADI professional instructor where you learn the basics of safety, equipment and underwater techniques. This is the best way to discover the life that lies beneath the crystal clear waters of Menorca, the perfect setting to get started in the world of diving. Turquoise and transparent waters, visibility of over 30 metres and a sea temperature in summer that ranges between 20ºC and 27ºC, these are the idyllic conditions that Menorca offers for the practise of any activity in the sea.
What we are going to do?
We will do a PADI introductory diving course in the waters of Menorca. Specifically in a beautiful enclave on the south coast between Binibeca Beach and Cala Torret. The programme includes two dives. The first dive will take place in a confined water environment (in front of the dive centre) where an instructor will introduce and explain the use of the diving equipment and its different parts. We will learn how to put on and adjust the equipment and we will practice the following exercises: breathing underwater, emptying the regulator, recovering the regulator, emptying the mask, compensation techniques, manual signals and underwater communication. We will then depart by boat and head towards the Isla del Aire Marine Reserve, where we will make the second dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres. The experience will be accompanied by a professional instructor at all times and in small groups.
