Jet ski experience around the Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca
Description
Over the Bay of Palma, a few metres from the sea, rises an imposing mass of stone that contrasts with the intense blues of the Mediterranean. The image of the Cathedral of Santa María de Palma ("La Seu", as the Mallorcans know it) has been the icon of the city for almost eight centuries, when King Jaume I ordered in 1229 to demolish the mosque of Medina Mayurca to build a great temple dedicated to Santa María in its place. It was one of his first decisions after conquering Mallorca. The result was this beautiful Gothic-style cathedral, a building that holds several records and is full of surprises.
What we are going to do?
We will meet in Cala Gamba (in Can Pastilla), from where we will start our little tour. Before we start, we will have a short introduction to the handling of the jet ski and the instructor will give us some safety instructions. The experience lasts 30 minutes and is the most original as we will be able to discover the Cathedral of Palma from a totally different perspective. We will sail across the bay until we arrive in front of "La Seu", the popular Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca, where we will stop to admire its spectacular beauty from the sea and also to take some photos. On the way back, we will go out to the open sea to burn all the adrenaline we have left and enjoy driving the jet ski.
