Guided driving tour of the Tramuntana Mountains and the Sóller Valley

tiempo 4h 30m
idiomas Spanish, English, German
Take part in a guided driving tour and enjoy Mallorca's breathtaking landscapes and charming villages.

Description

Did you know that Mallorca is home to one of the most impressive panoramic roads in Spain? It is the one that runs through the Serra de Tramuntana, a natural area that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2011. The incredible beauty of this place is conditioned by two factors: the human factor, due to the architecture of its villages; and the natural factor, due to the perfect combination of sea and mountain. The Serra de Tramuntana does not stand out for its height, but it doesn't really need it either. With the variety of landscapes it offers and its imposing views and viewpoints, it is more than enough to catch the tourist's attention. Moreover, it has a privileged location, as the combination of sea and mountains offers irresistible images to the visitor's eyes. It is therefore not surprising that some of the most beautiful villages on the island are to be found here.

What we are going to do?

A new concept to enjoy quality guided tours from your own car. A unique experience and highly recommended for clients who have a rental car or who travel in their own car. Once at the meeting point, we will place in each vehicle an innovative portable communication system that will allow us to listen and talk to the guide while we drive, as well as communicate with the other members of the tour, making the tour a truly interactive and dynamic experience. During the tour we will make different stops to observe the views or discover important historical sites, always accompanied by an expert local guide. At the first stop we will take a short 10-minute walk to reach La Ermita, a tiny chapel that is also an exceptional viewpoint. The guide will explain the fascinating history of the place, while we taste a piece of freshly baked ensaimada (typical Mallorcan sweet). We will also visit a school-monastery founded by Ramón Llull and finally, the olive oil mill of Sóller, where we will discover everything related to the production of olive oil as well as the cultivation of oranges. We will end the tour in the town of Sóller with a Mallorcan "pamboli".
