Diving baptism in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca
Description
The island of Mallorca is attractive in every sense of the word, surrounded by turquoise waters, small hidden coves, picturesque villages and a capital with great charm and cultural offerings. In addition, the island has a privileged location in the Mediterranean Sea, an area that is also home to one of the richest and most varied ecosystems, surrounded by beautiful underwater landscapes under rocky cliffs, caves, posidonia fields and some sunken ships. All this makes diving in Mallorca one of the most interesting in the country, with very good conditions and accessible to all levels. Here you will find a varied fauna that includes octopus, schools of barracudas, groupers, moray eels and conger eels among many others.
What we are going to do?
We will do a diving baptism, the most fun and safest way to discover the underwater world for the first time. This is a short programme, lasting one afternoon, in which participants are introduced to scuba diving. It includes a theoretical introduction together with an explanatory video, where we talk about the equipment and its use, the techniques of compensation of the ears and other important information. We will then travel to the dive site in a boat specially designed for divers and start practising what we have learnt in shallow protected water with a first dive to a depth of between 5 and 8 metres under the direct supervision of a PADI professional.
