Coast, sunrise and dolphins. Excursion to the cliffs of Cape Formentor, Mallorca
Description
At the northernmost tip of Mallorca is Cape Formentor, where the upper end of the Tramuntana mountain range meets the Mediterranean. It is a narrow peninsula 20 km long, a picture postcard landscape, dotted with cliffs and pine forests everywhere, which the Mallorcans affectionately refer to as "the meeting point of the winds". With this experience we will sail towards the majestic cliffs, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Not only is it a fantastic way to see the splendid coastline of the north of the island as the sun rises, but the trip will also take us out to sea in search of the pods of dolphins that inhabit the Mediterranean for most of the year.
What we are going to do?
We will board the boat at dawn in the Port of Alcudia and enjoy a 99% chance of spotting dolphins in their natural habitat, and thanks to the special design of the boat, we will be able to get close to these marine mammals. We will get away from the hustle and bustle of the day to enjoy the peace of the ocean in the early hours of the morning. On the way back, we can stop at the idyllic beach of "Es Coll Baix" and swim in its crystal clear waters to start the day with the best energy.
