Description
In Mallorca there are 6 protected nature reserves, among them the Malgrats Islands and the Isla del Toro, declared Marine Reserves for their high ecological value and marine fauna. The Malgrats Islands are two islets located in the municipality of Calvià, in front of the bay of Santa Ponça. In them coexist several different species: jellyfish, birds, fish and algae, which make the coasts of Calvià a unique place thanks to the care of its fauna and flora. A unique place where visitors can enjoy nature in its wild state, with sporting activities such as diving, kayaking and sailing. The marine area of Toro Island also has a high ecological and fishing value due to the diversity of habitats and fish that can be found. The Posidonia oceanica meadows occupy large areas and many species of fish congregate on its rocky bottoms, some of which come here for reproductive purposes.
What we are going to do?
We will take a boat trip departing from Santa Ponsa, to visit the famous Malgrats Islands and also the Isla del Toro. We will travel along the southwest coast of Mallorca passing by some of the most impressive coves and enclaves until we reach the Malgrats Islands, where we will take a break to swim, snorkel and enjoy the marvellous seabed. We will continue our journey to the Isla del Toro where we can take another refreshing swim before boarding the boat again to return to the starting point. On the way there and back, we can have a refreshment on board or enjoy one of the highlights of the boat, its underwater view, where we can observe the seabed, its fauna and flora.

In addition to Santa Ponsa, it is possible to board from Peguera and Camp de Mar. Once you have made your booking, you can contact us for information about embarkation points and departure times. The boat has toilets and bar service (cash payments are not accepted).
