Description
The large bays of Mallorca are one of the most popular destinations on the island, both for their beauty and for the beaches and services they offer. Exceptional places that offer numerous possibilities for leisure, water sports and excellent port and sports facilities. The wide bay of Palma encompasses three important municipalities on the island: Palma, Calvià and Llucmajor, and is the most populated area of Mallorca. It occupies some 260 km2 and is bounded by the headlands of Cala Figuera and Cap Blanc. It is home to the beautiful beaches of Portals Vells, Son Maties, Portals Nous, Ses Illetes, Can Pere Antoni, S'Arenal and Cala Blava, around which tourist and residential centres with all kinds of services have grown, such as Magaluf, Palmanova, Ses Illetes, Platja de Palma, Can Pastilla and S'Arenal.
What we are going to do?
We will take a boat excursion departing from the Royal Staircase of Palma de Mallorca with which we will tour the entire bay and its most important sites such as the impressive harbour, where spectacular yachts and some of the largest cruise ships in the world are moored. During the 3-hour tour we will be able to observe, from the sea and with a fantastic perspective, the Cathedral of Palma, the Royal Palace, the Almudaina and the Bellver Castle. We will find a real paradise while we enjoy caves and paradisiacal coves, and places of great beauty such as Illetas, Puerto Portals, Magaluf, Portals Vells, Cala Figuera, Cala Blava and Arenal. During the tour we will make a stop for a swim in crystal clear waters and white sandy bottoms where we can take the opportunity to take a refreshing swim and snorkel.
