Description
The almond tree is one of the trees whose flowers bloom earliest. If normally all the flowers usually bloom in spring, the almond blossom does so at the end of January. The mild temperatures in La Axarquía mean that this phenomenon occurs even earlier, from the beginning of January onwards.
What we are going to do?
We will enjoy a beautiful morning with a two-hour walk among almond trees and discover the relationship they have with agriculture in the area. We will leave our accommodation and arrive at the village of Daimalos, which belongs to the municipality of Arenas and has only 50 inhabitants. We will continue with the walk among almond trees and finally we will finish enjoying lunch in a local restaurant.
