Description
Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory located on a small peninsula at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, bordering only Spain. It is historically recognised as the southernmost point in Europe and is also strategically located at the western end of the Mediterranean, forming one of the ancient Pillars of Hercules. The rock is mainly Jurassic limestone about 200 million years old. Departing from the city of Malaga, this complete excursion will allow you to discover this curious city, its history and the Rock, the most characteristic point of the place.
What we are going to do?
We will leave Malaga early in the morning where a bus will be waiting for us to take us to Gibraltar. Upon arrival, our first visit will be to the Rock, the most strategic enclave in the history of Gibraltar. We will take a panoramic minibus tour of the city and stroll along the most outstanding streets such as Main Street, the shopping street par excellence. We will then go up to the Rock, stopping at St Michael's Cave and the Monkey Reserve, which we will have the luxury of visiting in depth. After the visit, we will have free time for duty free shopping or simply stroll through the streets of the city and soak up its history and culture. At the end of the day, we will take the buses back to our departure points.
