Description
The Axarquia, an Andalusian paradise, benefits from a subtropical microclimate which, together with its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, makes this land the perfect place in Europe for the cultivation of tropical fruit. In the farms of Velez-Malaga you can find mangoes, avocados, pomegranate, papaya, passion fruit, pitaya, custard apple, kumquat, lychee, logan or lucuma, among others.
What we are going to do?
We will depart from the agreed points and arrive at a farm full of mango and avocado trees with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. There we will be able to taste the tropical fruits that are harvested in this farm. After the visit we will drive to Velez Malaga, capital of the Axarquia region, where we will visit the most important sights of this historic town. To round off the morning we will visit a tropical fruit cooperative. Finally and to regain strength we will go to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious menu.
