Canyoning in Buitreras, Málaga
Description
The canyon, located in the Alcornocales Natural Park in Malaga, is known for passing through a narrow gorge with walls that reach, in some sections, up to 100 metres high, which makes it a spectacle for the eyes. This is the most exciting canyoning activity you can find in the province. To get there we will pass through the largest cork oak forest in Europe, one of the places where the most cork is harvested.
What we are going to do?
Initial excursion through a cork oak forest followed by a canyoning activity with jumps and abseiling. We will start with a walk of almost 1 hour to get to the starting point of the canyoning activity. We will go over the Puente de los Alemanes, which creates a passage between the two walls of the canyon, from where we will have a privileged view over the canyon. From there we will observe the first section of the route and the river. Once we are ready, we will start to slide down the waters doing some rappels and jumps (always voluntary). A unique opportunity to enjoy a privileged natural environment, do a fun activity and visit a charming village.
