Description
La Bodega del Nero is located in the heart of the town of Chinchón, one of the most beautiful and traditional tourist towns in the Community of Madrid. Chinchón offers us an incomparable landscape, which takes the visitor back to medieval times. The winery, founded in 1870, is made up of a building more than 150 years old, which, thanks to its wide walls and orientation, manages to favour naturally balanced temperature and humidity conditions all year round, essential for the good conservation and ageing of the wine. Bodega del Nero is one of the few wineries in Spain with five generations of winemakers within the same family, and now offers the opportunity to visit and learn all about the processes of cultivation and production of their wines.
What we are going to do?
This experience aims to open the Bodega del Nero to the general public in order to offer visitors a visit in which they can feel and experience the nature of wine first hand. We propose that you meet the 5th generation of winemakers, Álvaro and Roberto, and that they explain the history of the winery, its anecdotes, curiosities and the winemaking process. This way you will learn, have fun and give free rein to your senses, thanks to this unforgettable opportunity in which, in addition to the guided tour, you will be able to taste 2 wines (Neri Joven and Neri Cepas Viejas) accompanied by a tapa of Chinchón Cheese.
