Description
Toledo, an ancient city perched on a hill above the plains of Castilla La Mancha, is known as the "city of three cultures", due to the centuries-long coexistence of Christians, Arabs and Jews. Toledo preserves behind its walls an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of synagogues, mosques and churches and an impressive Cathedral, one of the wonders of the city.
What we are going to do?
We will leave Madrid in the direction of Toledo. Once there, we will take a guided tour of the city, the Jewish quarter and the area of the convents. We will enter the Cathedral for a small tour and visit the 7 most important monuments of the city. Finally, we will taste the typical Toledan marzipan in a monastery of cloistered nuns.
