Description
Madrid, Spain's bustling capital, is full of art, bars, tapas and cultural attractions. And it's not just the capital, but can be a destination for anyone who wants to learn more about Spanish culture and history. With this tour we will walk through the most important parts of the old town of Madrid, paying special attention to the most emblematic historic buildings and landmarks. On the other hand, we will visit Toledo, an ancient city located on a hill above the plains of Castilla La Mancha, known as the "city of the three cultures", due to the coexistence for centuries of Christians, Arabs and Jews. Toledo preserves behind its walls an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of synagogues, Mezquitas and churches and an impressive Cathedral, one of the wonders of the city.
What we are going to do?
We will start the experience in the Plaza Mayor and continue to the Plaza del Sol and the historic district of Las Letras. We will walk to the gardens of the Prado Museum, where we will also take a guided tour of the museum. Once the tour is over, we will depart for Toledo to visit the city, the historic buildings and the narrow streets. We will have free time for lunch. Finally we will return to Madrid.
