Tapas tour of Madrid and flamenco show

What we are going to do?

We will take a 4-hour route through the neighbourhoods of Las Letras, La Latina and Los Austrias. The tour will start in the Plaza de San Miguel, where we will move to the streets La Latina, Cava Baja and Cuchilleros, famous for the Tapeo. There we will taste typical tapas of mushrooms or Padrón peppers accompanied by a beer or a cider. The route will continue through different bars in the centre of Madrid, where we will taste the famous pincho de tortilla española (Spanish omelette) accompanied by a cold beer. After visiting the San Miguel Market, we will stroll through the Plaza Mayor and the Barrio de las Letras, where famous poets and artists spent the best years of their lives. Next to Calle Huertas, our stop is at an old but renovated bar (or "Casa de Comidas"), to taste cheeks with mashed potatoes and drink a good wine, preferably red. The route continues walking through the Plaza de Santa Ana and the Teatro Español. After visiting Plaza Santa Ana, our guide will see you off and give you instructions to find the Tablao, where you will enjoy an intimate flamenco show surrounded by the incredible atmosphere of the Tablao Flamenco, a hidden treasure in the centre of Madrid.
