Description
Discover the ancient capital of Spain on a private and exclusive tour from Madrid. Toledo is one of the oldest and best preserved cities in Spain, where you can find monuments, museums and works of art from all times, from Roman remains, Mozarabic churches, the Primate Cathedral, mosques and synagogues, as well as its famous narrow cobbled streets and romantic squares. During the guided tour we will get to know the fantastic work of El Greco, visiting his masterpiece, the Burial of the Lord of Orgaz (Church of Santo Tomé). We will also visit exclusive archaeological sites and remains of the underground city, such as wells, Roman baths and many more magical places from the 13th century.
What we are going to do?
We will take an exclusive (private) guided tour of the city of Toledo. The driver will pick you up from your hotel to travel to Toledo. The trip lasts approximately one hour and upon arrival your official guide will be waiting for you to visit the most important museums and monuments of the city. On the tour of Toledo, we will walk through the Christian, Jewish and Muslim quarters, visiting the main museums and monuments, such as the cathedral, the mosque or the synagogues, as well as underground sites and archaeological remains. After the visit and before returning to the hotel in Madrid, we can enjoy some free time to have lunch in the city or go shopping.
