Description

Ribera del Duero is the designation of origin for vineyards located in Castilla y León. The region is home to two of the best wineries in the world according to Wine and Spirits, which we will visit and taste their wines. The first stop is in the lands near Aranda del Duero, a constellation of plots of native vines where we can learn about the history of the winery and its artisanal winemaking, from the soil to the bottle. After visiting the first winery, we will visit the village of Peñafiel, where you will have free time to stroll around and have lunch. In the second winery we will discover the great technology applied to all the processes to deliver a high quality premium wine. A unique and exclusive way to visit a stunning rural landscape with endless vineyards, while learning the history of one of the most special wines of the region, due to its ecological production process.

What we are going to do?

We will drive from Madrid to the Ribera del Duero region. We will arrive at the first winery, where we will have a guided tour and a tasting of 3 wines accompanied by an expert oenologist. Once the experience is over, we will head to the town of Peñafiel. We will have free time to explore the village and have lunch. Once we have eaten, we will go to the second winery, where we will visit its vineyards, one of the best in the Ribera del Duero, along with a tasting of three wines accompanied by an expert oenologist. Finally, we will leave for Madrid.
