Description
The Retiro Park is one of the most famous urban parks in Spain. It is a historic garden in which you can contemplate architectural, sculptural and landscape ensembles dating from the 17th to the 21st centuries.
What we are going to do?
We will take a tour of approximately two hours accompanied by a local expert guide. We will walk around as he tells us all the details and secrets hidden in the Retiro Park, and we will pay attention to the different architectural monuments that make up this space. We will learn how it began to be used as an urban park in the 18th century and how part of the original layout was destroyed during the French invasion.
