Description
Madrid, Spain's bustling capital, is full of art, bars, tapas and cultural attractions. And it's not just the capital, but can be a destination for anyone who wants to learn more about Spanish culture and history. With this tour we will walk through the most important parts of the old town of Madrid, paying special attention to the most emblematic historic buildings and landmarks.
What we are going to do?
We will start by visiting the Villa de los Austrias, the old enclave of the Habsburg dynasty, the area around the San Miguel market and the interior of the Plaza Mayor. The route will continue through the Barrio de las Letras neighbourhood, especially Calle Huertas and Calle Cervantes. We will arrive at the Paseo del Prado, recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enter the Retiro Park, a classic park, considered one of the lungs of the city with hundreds of species of fauna and flora; right there we will see the Crystal Palace and surround the Retiro Pond. We will return to the central point, the Puerta del Sol, on our way to the viewpoint of the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral. Finally, the tour concludes at the Plaza de Oriente.

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance. The maximum weight allowed on the Segway is 130 kg (286.50 lbs). If you exceed this weight, you will not be allowed to participate in the activity. The minimum age limit is 10 years old or a minimum height of 1.50m (4.9').
