Description
Located in the centre of the Terras do Miño Biosphere Reserve, the millenary city of Lucus Augusti has a great diversity of resources, both natural and cultural. With two World Heritage Sites, the Roman Wall and Lugo Cathedral, the city is one of the most important stops on the Primitive Way of St. James.
What we are going to do?
We will start the tour in the main square of Lugo, accompanied by a local expert guide. We will make a walking tour of the city where we will have access to the Roman Wall, declared a World Heritage Site. We will continue to the Cathedral of Lugo where we will enter and the guide will explain all the secrets and curiosities of the cathedral. Finally we will access the Domus de Mitreo, an ancient temple dedicated to the oriental god Mitra.
