Description

The freshest and most exciting Portuguese wine region is Lisbon. After the absolute international successes of the Douro and Alentejo, it is now in Lisbon that the best experiences are to be found. There are several appellations in the region with completely different characteristics. By crossing the traditional Portuguese varieties: besides the famous Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca - in the reds; and Arinto, Encruzado and Alvarinho - in the whites; with Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon; results have been achieved that excite connoisseurs.

What we are going to do?

We will depart from the centre of Lisbon to Torres Vedras, a small town north of the capital. Once we arrive, we will meet a local guide who will explain the history of the place. We will then get into a 4x4 for a 40 minutes drive through the vineyards while we will be explained all the secrets of the grapes and enjoy the scenery. We will continue the tour to an old "Lagar", a wine press. Finally, we will be able to taste the wine produced in the Torres Vedras winery.
