Guided tour from Lisboa to Sintra, Pena Palace and Cascais with boat trip
Description
Sintra is a Portuguese town nestled in the hills of the Sintra Mountains. Hidden among the pine-covered hills we discover whimsical palaces, extravagant villas and the ruins of a Moorish castle. The variety of fascinating historical buildings and natural scenery combine to perfection. Here we find one of the finest palaces in Europe, the Pena Palace, which was one of the main residences of the Portuguese royal family during the 19th century. Cascais is a traditional Portuguese fishing village located on the coastline of Lisboa. Historically, Cascais was the chosen summer retreat of the Portuguese nobility, and today, the town is an elegant fusion of decorative nineteenth-century architecture and modern tourist facilities. It has a historic centre of cobbled streets offering luxurious mansions, an imposing fortress and fascinating museums.
