Boat trip from Lisboa to Cascais and city tour
Description
Cascais is a traditional Portuguese fishing village located on the coastline of Lisboa. Historically, Cascais was the chosen summer retreat of the Portuguese nobility, and today, the town is an elegant fusion of decorative nineteenth-century architecture and modern tourist facilities. It has a historic centre of cobbled streets offering luxurious mansions, an imposing fortress and fascinating museums.
What we are going to do?
We will embark at the Port of Belém and sail along the coast until we reach the bay of Cascais. On the way, we will be told stories and admire a defence tower and the beaches of the town of Estoril and Cascais. When we arrive in the village, we will take a walking tour led by an expert guide. We will approach the "Boca do Inferno" (Hell's Mouth), a unique natural chasm in the coastal cliffs. Once the tour is over, we will have 2 hours of free time to visit the monuments on our own or stroll through the streets to taste the typical gastronomy of the area. Finally, we will return to Lisboa by van.
