Snowshoeing initiation in Port del Comte, Lleida

What we are going to do?

We will meet at the Estivella car park of the Port del Comte ski resort, where we will start the activity. After introductions and a brief explanation of the activity, we will hand out the equipment we will use: snowshoes and poles. The guide will explain how to put on the snowshoes and how to fix the poles, and will help you at all times if you need it. Once we are ready, the guide will teach you the technique to progress correctly in each type of terrain and the different positions of the snowshoe bindings. The route runs through beautiful forests from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Cadí and Pedraforca. Along the way we will pass through terrain of different inclines and slopes so that we can practice the use of snowshoes in different situations. We have different route options and we will adapt depending on the group, the weather conditions and the state of the snow.
