Description
Learn to identify the constellations with just your eyes and observe the main elements of the sky and the firmament through a telescope. An exclusive activity that always takes place in areas with "Starlight" certification where light pollution is practically non-existent. Thanks to the two portable telescopes and the technical equipment necessary to achieve a perfect observation of the sky, we will live a unique experience, surrounded by a perfect landscape in the middle of the High Pyrenees Natural Park. An activity in which culture, science and tradition come together to offer you a perfect and unforgettable experience.
What we are going to do?
We will do an astronomical observation activity near the village of Guingueta d'Àneu, in the middle of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. We will make an initial observation with the naked eye (training our sense of sight) of the main constellations, with the help of an astronomical laser, and we will learn, with the help of an expert guide, all about Catalan mythology. Afterwards, we will make a deeper observation thanks to two portable telescopes and other additional material. We will be able to observe distant objects, galaxies, nebulae, planets and star clusters. The activity will be enlivened with a tasting of Km0 herbal teas from the High Pyrenees or typical liqueurs such as Ratafia, which will help us to get through the cold of the night.

Warm clothing (as it is a static activity, the feeling of cold can be higher than normal, it is important to wrap up warm).
