Description
Every Sunday morning, the village of Teguise in the centre of Lanzarote is transformed and the silence and tranquillity of its streets gives way to the hustle and bustle of a multitude of stalls and artisans. In its streets and squares takes place the most important popular market of the Canary Islands, where you can buy all kinds of handicrafts, ceramics, baskets, leather goods and natural and typical products such as cheese, wine and those made from cactus and aloe. Many artists also sell their colourful works here and it is an event that no visitor should miss. The experience also includes a guided boat trip to the island of La Graciosa. An island that is the ideal destination for sensitive and adventurous travellers, who know how to enjoy nature, silence, beauty and, of course, sunbathing on its secluded beaches. La Graciosa is probably one of the few places in Europe where there are still no paved roads. It is the most unknown and the most serene corner of the Canary Islands.
What we are going to do?
The experience starts with the pick up at the hotel and at different meeting points in Lanzarote in an air-conditioned bus. We will travel to the village of Teguise and once there we will have 2 hours free to enjoy the craft market. After the visit to the market we will go to the north of the island, in the village of Órzola, where we will board a ferry to La Graciosa, where we will enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the north coast of Lanzarote. Once in La Graciosa, the guide will show us some of the secrets of Caleta del Sebo, such as the old church and the streets of the fishing village. At 14h we will be served lunch (salad, paella, fruit and drinks) plus a welcome glass of cava and after lunch we will have another hour and a half of free time on the island to explore it on our own and enjoy its beaches. At 16.30h we will take the ferry back to Órzola, where the bus will be waiting for us for the transfer to the hotel.
