Description
We present a walking route through Granada themed around water. We will walk along different natural and artificial water courses. The aim is to learn about their history, uses, infrastructures and symbolism. But above all, we want to show the value of one of the most important assets of our land. We combine an urban walk and contact with nature in places that are rarely visited, even by the "granainos" themselves.
What we are going to do?
We will start our ascent walking under the palace towers of the Alhambra. We will climb to the top along a legendary medieval path along the water. We will rest at one of the highest viewpoints in Granada to enjoy unforgettable landscapes. On the way down we will enter the Darro Valley. A winding and sometimes steep path will lead us between small hidden viewpoints and magical landscapes at sunset. We will descend through a leafy forest watered by the irrigation channels that used to supply water to the Alhambra. Once in the lower part of the valley, we will walk to the Avellano fountain. It is time to refill water, learn about the cultural value that this enclave had in the 19th century and begin the return to the city.

Sports or trekking shoes (waterproof footwear is recommended in winter).
Important
It is important to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts. Experience not accessible for people with reduced mobility. The use of a baby carrier is recommended, as the route runs along steep paths that are not suitable for pushchairs.
