Description
Rio Verde is one of the best canyons you can find in Andalusia and of course the best in the area of Granada, within the Natural Park Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama. The descent in this area is unforgettable. We will start with a short walk to get to the starting point, a crystal clear water pool where the adventure begins. With its turquoise waters, the river will take us on a dynamic route, with numerous jumps, small caves and abseiling at different heights. The jumps, which range from 3 to 9 metres, are always optional. If you don't feel safe, the guide will show you an alternative way to avoid them.
What we are going to do?
Initial excursion through the Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park followed by a canyoning activity in Rio Verde, Granada.
Itinerary
Start: Otivar - Parque Natural Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama - Descent via Rio Verde - return to the starting point.

Activity aimed at all levels. No previous experience is necessary, although it is advisable to be in good physical condition. Not recommended for children under 12 years old. The organising company offers the option of renting professional canyoning shoes. The activity may be modified or cancelled if there is not a minimum number of participants.
