Description
Also known as the "miniature continent", Gran Canaria stands out for its marked contrasts. In the same day you can enjoy marvellous beaches surrounded by dune fields and climb to the peaks covered in Canary Island pine forests, whose greenery stands out against the dark volcanic substratum. Like the rest of the Canary Islands, it is blessed with an enviable climate, an eternal spring that invites you to live intensely its rich nature and diversity of landscapes, its charming seaside and inland towns, its traditions, culture and history.
What we are going to do?
We will take a guided circular bus route around the island starting in the south, in the area of Puerto Mogán and heading towards Veneguera, the untouched and wild west coast, where we will visit Los Azulejos de Veneguera, an amazing natural monument that seems to have been coloured by a giant paintbrush (20 min stop). We will continue to La Aldea de San Nicolás, the most isolated village surrounded by cliffs and ravines of great beauty; and the impressive Andén Verde, where we will discover a totally different landscape from its viewpoint at 500 metres above sea level. After a relaxing time in the charming Puerto de las Nieves, where we will have time for lunch (not included), and a visit to the Dedo de Dios, we will continue along the northern cornice until we reach a banana plantation, where we will taste the product par excellence of our islands (optional). Finally, we will enjoy an excellent panoramic view of the beach of Las Canteras and we will return to the starting point, after literally going around the island. During the whole excursion the guide will help us to understand the geological formation and history of the island.

The experience includes the pick-up service from Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés, San Agustín, Bahía Feliz, Puerto Rico, Arguineguín, Taurito and Puerto Mogán. If you are staying in an area other than the one described above, the transfer service is not included and you will have to make your own way to one of the meeting points. Once you have made your booking we will contact you to arrange the pick-up.
