To discover the most interesting places and monuments, don't miss this guided tour to complete your holiday on the island. The city centre has two very popular and must-see areas. One is Vegueta, the historic quarter of the city founded in 1494, where you will find the cathedral of Santa Ana, the Christopher Columbus house-museum and the shopping area of Calle Triana, with its shops, terraces and bars. The other, located near the port, is Las Canteras Beach (considered one of the best urban beaches) next to Plaza Santa Catalina and the shopping street Mesa y López. This experience will undoubtedly be a day full of contrasts in an urban environment that is becoming more and more fashionable among visitors to the Canary Islands.
What we are going to do?
Guided tour through the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. First of all, we will visit the area of Vegueta, the historic district of the city, and Triana Street. The last stop of the tour will be around Las Arenas Shopping Centre, which will allow us to enjoy the boulevard of Las Canteras Beach, which we can walk along at our own pace or follow the guide so as not to miss any detail. The tour lasts all day and with the recommendations of the guide we can have lunch in a good restaurant in Las Palmas (not included in the price).
